The history of Tri-Ag Implements
Tri-Ag was first formed in September of 1987 by Ed Ford, Ted Grocock, Chester Ford, and Bill Bast.
Ed headed the team, bringing with him eight years of experience, having started out in the agriculture equipment industry in 1979 working at Parkview Equipment in Wainwright. Over the years Ed worked in a number of different locations, including Vermilion. But when it came time to open his own shop, coming back to Wainwright just seemed natural.
Since that time, Tri-Ag Implements has gone through many changes, and much growth – opening the St. Paul and Consort offices and considerably expanding the Wainwright facility. Much of the team has stayed the same over the years, and three of the original owners are still at the helm.
